Your generous donations help us to provide the critical resources we need to accomplish our mission and we cannot thank you enough for your support.   As a nonprofit organization, we depend heavily on your contribution to help us to:  
  • maintain 250+ acres and 10 miles of wildlife habitats, and woodland trails for daily, year-round, low impact reacreation
  • provide bird and nature education to adults, children, 4H clubs, and school groups
  • maintain and preserve the historic Chapman House, perennial gardens, and grounds
  • manage, create or improve a variety of wildlife habitats for our feathered, furry and winged friends, including Monarch butterflies, bats, insects, and bees

THE GENERAL FUND

The General Fund:
For every-day operations of Chapman Sanctuary and Visny Woods 
Contributions not earmarked for a Dedicated Fund will go to The General Fund.

DEDICATED FUNDS

Capital Improvement Fund: 
Renovation and care of the eighteenth century residence, using historical preservation guidelines.

Wildlife Habitat Fund: 
Enhances the natural food chain with plantings of wildflowers, fruit and nut bearing shrubs and trees, and create small openings for habitat regeneration.

For the Birds Fund:  
Purchases birdseed, suet and other feeder supplies.

Garden Fund:
For plants and the materials needed to enrich the flower gardens at the Chapman House and Tea Cup Lake, exclusive of labor.
