2018 CSVW ANNUAL BIRD WALK led by USFS Christine Costello May 12, 2018 at 7:00am
This annual event is a CSVW favorite! Join us at CSVW for a fun and educational walk through the forest trails, sanctuary gardens and Teacup Lake. USFS expert birder, Christine Costello from the Bartlett Experimental Forest, will lead the way and share her knowledge as we learn to identify birds both by sight and sound. Topics discussed include species preferred habitat, food source, nesting and so much more. Last year the group encountered bird species including a Scarlet Tanager, Brown Creeper, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and dozens more.
Additional information and what to bring:

Birding notebook or journal
Bug repellent & sunscreen
Parking in the new large lot
Meet at Kiosk at Chapman House
